You guessed it; hurry up and wait! I got an email this week informing me that I should have my papers to be sworn in, my orders for basic and my orders for my first duty post by the end of the month. That is exciting! So when my wait is over, I will let you know.

From what I have read and from what others have told me, hurry up and wait is the way of the Army. God is working in my garden, helping me to produce greater fruits of the spirit. Galatians 5:22-23a.

Waiting is the hardest thing to do, we all want it done in our timeframe. God will make everything happen when he is ready, in his time. I'll take all the extra time he wants to let us have you here with us.

Thanks for the goBible website you passed along to me! I appreciate that; I'd heard about it just yesterday--interesting timing that you'd pass the link along to me today.

So when are you planning on going active duty with chaplaincy? I'm headed on active duty in two weeks!! Can't wait for what God has in store.

Take care!

Dave

Dave,

Yes, I read your post today, and then I read an article about GoBible. I love God's timing.

At the present, I should be going active duty in June for CH-BOLC. I am sill waiting for official orders. I am getting used to the familiar cadence of hurry up and wait. I will be keeping up with you as you post, and I look forward to seeing what God has in store for you and me.

Blessings,
Michael
